The Central Video Management supports following social networking functions:

• Rating
• Comment handling
• Moderating by editors

Community functions can be accessed by the visitors through the buttons of the video player interface which needs to be uniquely designed before.

Comments

Commments can be entered within the video player interface and are always subject to prior registration. When the user clicks on the Comment button, the current video stream is stopped, a new window with a login request appears. The comment function can only be accessed by registered users in the Central Video Management. This enables that in case of multiple web sites, users have to register only once, and are then in the position to comment on videos displayed in other web sites of the subscriber.

Rating

You can rate videos without prior registration and login on the video player interface. The system stores whether the user has already rated before. Each user can only rate once.
